The Boy Scouts of America San Diego - Imperial Council got it right when they honored Bill Kellogg October 15th, 2014 at the world famous Marine Room.

Bill Kellogg, President of the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, has proven meritorious of his 'Good Scout of the Year' honor by his many accomplishments for the community.

Among them having served as President for the Mt. Soledad Memorial Association, as President of the La Jolla Shores Association, as a member of the La Jolla Town Council, the La Jolla Community Planning Association, and the La Jolla Historical Society.

He also is on the Scripps Institution of Oceanography's Director's Circle Cabinet and the Advisory Council for the Scripps Memorial Hospital.

Bill Kellogg has led an exemplary life ... a true and clear example to current and future scouts!

Guests enjoyed a terrific Chef Bernard dinner of Signature Maine Lobster Bisque, Beef Cheeks, and a very naughty dessert that quickly disappeared...

Bill Kellogg received his award graciously, and deferred to his brother Bob Kellogg who helped significantly to secure the Mt. Soledad Memorial.

In attendance were 3 generations of the Kellogg family.
